About Intention Psychology
Intention Psychology is a private psychology practice, created by Sandy (Kyriaki) Alexandraki. The word intention reflects the philosophical approach of the practice which is to support individuals in making intentional efforts to lead a meaningful life according to their own values.
Ms Sandy (Kyriaki) Alexandraki
Sandy is a clinical psychologist with more than eight years of experience in public and private mental health settings. Sandy has a gentle and compassionate approach and views therapy as a potentially transformative process that is experienced uniquely by every individual. In her sessions, Sandy aims to create space for establishing safety, reconnecting with one's self and making intentional changes to facilitate growth. Sandy places particular importance on the embodiment of experiences and the connection between mind and body. Sandy's approach to therapy incorporates meditation practices, creating and nurturing helpful and supportive lifestyle routines, practices and rituals and learning how to foster supportive and meaningful relationships.
Sandy has trained in a number of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, Sandy's therapeutic approach is heavily influenced by her personal study of Eastern thought and philosophy.
Sandy offers individual and group therapy sessions to both English and Greek speaking clients.
